Olivenhain Stairwell Tree Weave
The Olivenhain Stairwell Tree Weave is located in San Diego, California, in a neighbored between Rancho Santa Fe and Encinitas.
This Tree Weaves installation is a perfect example of how a tree net can take an unused space like under the stairs and turn it into a multi-use functional space. Using emerald green paracord each knot was hand woven to create a floor and wall. No structural perimeter such as rope or webbing was used in this freeform creation.
Climb on in and enjoy the view, kick back and feel held by the hammock-like nature of the weave. Experience a new perspective from underneath the deck while elevated off the ground below. This tree weave gives tree-fort-like vibes. It is the perfect morning nap space for the baby and toddler it was built for.
The stairwell net showcases how Tree Weaves can be applicable to any multilevel construction architecture. Adding function to otherwise under-utilized space. Have a deck with nothing going on underneath it? Or a raised beach house with an open carport? Add a space net and elevate your lounge sessions.
