Leucadia Net Loft

Located in Leucadia, California, this net loft is off the second floor in a private home directly above the foyer entryway.  In contrast to a standard Tree Weaves tree net, this is an indoor loft net nestled within a beautiful San Diego home. The floating net invites a comfortable hangout space with plush pillows lining the hand woven net.

We added aerial yoga hammock rigging points along the wall to suspend the net loft. The perimeter of the net floor is made out of a 12 strand Amsteel rope. Amsteel is a type of rope that cannot hold knots, so every connection must be spliced. The aerial yoga hammock anchors we used for this particular installation are quite oversized. The paracord colors are cream and tan, woven with a dream weave pattern, a style our tree weave design team has been practicing. The concentric circles bring a cozy feel of love and community. The woven Dream pattern gives this net a soft, loose feeling that makes it ideal for laying down. It feels a lot more hammock-like than more solid and rigid feel of many of our other installations. When you step onto this net it holds you above the foyer in a way that welcomes you to feel at-home. You can lay down, read a book, and get cuddly with the family.

Above the net is a second tier loft space bench seat with 2 windows showcasing a stunning view of the pacific ocean. This net loft is in a beautiful beach neighborhood north of San Diego, CA, known as Leucadia.

Indoor net installations are a multi use favorite. Treat it like a hammock, a room of its own, host a gathering, play games, have solo time to meditate while floating above the floor in your home. Kick back, take a nap, read a book, cuddle with loved ones and enjoy.
