3 Sisters Tower

The 3 Sisters Tower is a multi-level Tree Net Tower playground structure located in Athens, Georgia, USA. The tower is currently at 8 levels. The uppermost penthouse level, the Blue Room, is 50’ high in the near-tops of 4 very large oak trees. Each of the 8 levels has its own color scheme, and unique components. Both the 7th and 8th levels of this Tree Net are spacious tree penthouses with their own dumbwaiters and rappels. The 7th level, the Purple Palace, has 3 little crows nests that act as elevated lounges (one in each corner). The 8th level has a little side pouch off the rappel where you can climb down and out onto a little cone-nook we created in the midst of some large oblique branches. From both the 7th and 8th levels, the quickest way down is to harness up, clip into the rappel ropes and gently lower yourself down to the ground, catching a great view of the rest of the tree net all the way down, and floating gloriously in space.

The photos below show some up close shots of the bottom levels. We need to process our media and upload some more complete imagery. The video at the bottom of the page is a 3 minute tour we did when we had built up to the 6th level (although without walls—the entire tower is currently fully walled in except for exit portals for the rappels and highline).
