Hand-Woven Stairs
As we all know, stairs make it easy to transition between upper and lower levels of any structure. The same can be true for a Tree Weave as well.
Our incredibly unique and dynamic playground structures and tree nets come in all shapes and sizes. However, these installations are typically raised off the ground. Whether it is a single-level net only a couple feet off of the ground or a multi-level structure that rises twenty feet into the trees, our hand-woven stairs can help add ease to that ascension while also providing a visually stunning look that can compliment any Tree Weave.
The staff at Tree Weaves are big believers in allowing the natural flow of a job site to influence the way in which we construct our tree nets. When the opportunity arises, we love to add colorful staircases that bring shape and beauty to the design of a tree net.
There are a few different methods we can use when adding stairs to an installation. We often use 1” tubular webbing or Blue Water Ropes Safeline looped through anchor bolts to form the perimeter of a stair. Next, strands of 550 paracord are hand-woven into the interior of the stair, creating a taught, solid platform for anyone to step on comfortably.
